Davit Gabaidze is a Georgian politician, lawyer and public figure.

He was born on 10 August 1980 in the village of Khikhadziri. In 2002, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. He has passed the qualification examinations for both advocates and judges, in general law as well as the civil-law and administrative-law specialisations.

He has taught since 2002. He has delivered lecture courses in administrative law and administrative procedural law at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and other universities. Since 2022, he has been a Professor at the School of Law of Grigol Robakidze University and has published scholarly works.

He participated in the work of the State Constitutional Commission in 2016–2017. From 2016 to 2026, he was Chairman of three convocations of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. He is one of the authors and initiators of the revised Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. He has been a regional expert of the Assembly of European Regions since 2015. Since May 2026, he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC Ajara Water Alliance.
